Sometime in early November of 1994, in three quiet towns in Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York, a thought popped into each of our young heads -- not a fully formed, prescient vision of the future.  No, nothing quite that dramatic.  Not a plan neither.  That would come later.  It was nothing more or less than a shadow of a feeling.  A presence that would not be ignored -- would not be shoved off as a daydream or deja-vu.  It felt like destiny.  It felt like duty.  It felt ... well, it felt pretty damn good.  And so, twenty years to the day after that seed was planted in our collective subconscious, we three travelers, Ben Waller, Matthew Jorgensen, and Aidan Nelson, steered toward an unknown future with the assurance of fate, launched Rousers.

Of course, it took some work to get there...

In summer of 2014, Rousers started with an idea, some sketches, and a pile of cut up pants.  In the months that followed, we worked with a pattern maker in NYC's Garment District to develop that sketch, along with dozens of fabric swatches, into six prototypes and a production pattern.

In early 2015, that pattern was given to a factory in Pennsylvania, along with denim produced by Cone Denim's historic White Oak Mill, in Greensboro, NC and turned into our first production run.

After that, the rest was history...

Well, no, not really.  But since delivery of our first production run (which you can purchase here), we've received some incredible feedback and enthusiasm from customers all around the world and are already planning future Rousers to add to our collection.  If you've got any feedback, ideas for new products, photos of how you wear Rousers, or just want to say hi, please contact us here.
